The Value Creation Awards have been specifically created for the private equity sector, focused on recognising excellence in value creation. To be eligible for these prestigious awards, companies must demonstrate significant achievements in enhancing value within their respective areas of expertise. Nominations for the awards can be made in two ways: companies can either nominate themselves or be nominated by a third party, allowing for a broad and inclusive range of entries.

The selection is then carried out in two phases that involves a diverse panel of judges, including Limited Partners (LPs), General Partners (GPs), Academics, Advisors, and Actum Group representatives.

Submissions are initially reviewed and ranked by the judges using a unique medal-based system. Gold for the highest preference, Silver for the second, Bronze for the third, and Copper for the fourth. Gold equates to 4 points and Copper to 1 point. We then aggregate these scores, the four submissions with the highest scores are the Finalists.

The Finalists are subsequently invited to submit any additional information in order to bolster their cases. The judges reassess these submissions using the same ranking system, ultimately awarding the company with the highest cumulative score as the winner.
